Since its inception, Wisconsin Impact has focused not only on placing student-athletes collegiately but placing them at an appropriate level to maximize the chances of success and minimize the likelihood of a transfer.

All of the athletes listed below finished their club careers with Wisconsin Impact (multiple exposure tourneys required). All scholarship players are listed (including transfer activity) and all D3 players that played for at least two years collegiately are listed.

Of the players that started on scholarship and have completed their eligibility, 82% of those athletes completed their education at the same institution where they started! Only 5 players transferred - all were within division (4 DII to DII and 1 NAIA to NAIA) - and all 5 were starters before and after transferring. Only 1 scholarship player quit - to transfer and focus on volleyball. NONE of our scholarship players down-transferred.

While points are not the only measure of collegiate success, they do speak to players being able to contribute offensively at the level they are playing at. Here is the career scoring distribution of our scholarship players:

Our DIII placement has also been outstanding, with most players that played more than one year finishing a successful 4-year career at the same institution. 2 players scored 1000+ and another 9 players scored 500+, with only 1 D3 to D3 transfer in that group.

At all times, Wisconsin Impact places the interests of the student-athlete ahead of the interests of the club. We will not push our athletes to pursue opportunities that are destined to fail, nor will we manufacture opportunities that they have not earned. We will advocate tirelessly on their behalf in helping them get placed in a situation where they have a high probability of success.
